This is my new 3D massing of my model, after approaching different techniques to the site, I came up with this solution. The ramp will not only be a walk on space but space to occupy underneath. I've begun with floor plans while making this massing. I think it will help if I place my massing on top pf my site to actually see the way it reacts with the environment.

I am in the process of posting those up. The space on the edge of the ramp is elevated into the ground, enough to be occupied. The entire area underneath the ramp would be public space that includes a garden and art gallery.
ReplyDeleteBe careful with the public space under the ramp Baljinder. You better make more holes for the light to come inside and also think about the contents of the space. Otherwise it won`t be attractive at all, people normally do not want to climb up and down without any specific reason. You have to make them want that! :)
